Last Updated: February 5, 2026

1. Introduction

Age of Robots ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and safeguard your information when you use the Idea Baby Daycare mobile application ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

We offer three sign-in methods. The information we receive depends on the provider you choose:

-Apple Sign-In: We receive your Apple User ID (a unique identifier) and, if you choose to share them, your name and email address. Apple may provide a private relay email address to protect your real email.

- Google Sign-In: We receive your Google account identifier, name, email address, and profile picture URL as provided by Google.

- GitHub Sign-In: We receive your GitHub account identifier, username, email address, and profile picture URL as provided by GitHub.

You may link multiple sign-in providers to a single account and unlink them at any time, provided at least one provider remains connected.

3. How We Use Your Information

- To provide and maintain the App: Authenticate your identity, display your profile, and enable core features such as idea submission, voting, and commenting.

- To process ideas through AI: Idea content is sent to OpenAI for rewriting/refinement, safety review, scoring, title generation, collaboration agreement drafting, and dispute mediation. Only idea content is sent — your personal identity is not shared with OpenAI.

- To enable community features: Display your public profile, ideas, and comments to other users. Show your display name and avatar on content you publish.

- To send notifications: Deliver push notifications about votes, comments, mentions, and other activity related to your ideas (if you grant permission).

- To personalize your experience: Provide a personalized feed based on your interests and activity.

- To maintain safety and security: Moderate content, enforce community guidelines, and prevent abuse.

- To improve the App: Monitor error reports and usage patterns to fix bugs and enhance features.

4. Information Sharing

We may share limited information in these circumstances:

- Public Content: When you publish an idea with public visibility, the idea content, your display name, avatar, and collaboration status are visible to other App users.

- AI Processing: Idea content is sent to OpenAI (via their API) for rewriting, scoring, and safety review. OpenAI's data usage is governed by their [API data usage policy](https://openai.com/policies/api-data-usage-policies). We use the API, which means your data is not used to train OpenAI's models.

- Error Tracking: Anonymized error and crash data is sent to Sentry for monitoring and debugging. This may include your user ID and device information but does not include idea content.

- Push Notifications: Your Expo push token is used to deliver notifications through Expo's push notification service.

- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.

We do **not** sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Data Storage and Security

- Server-Side Storage: Your account data, ideas, profile information, and community activity are stored on our servers using a PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon. Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.

- On-Device Storage: Authentication tokens are stored in your device's secure keychain (via Expo Secure Store). Local idea drafts and preferences are stored on your device.

- Authentication Security: We use JWT (JSON Web Tokens) with automatic token refresh. Passwords are never stored — authentication is handled entirely through OAuth providers (Apple, Google, GitHub).

- Rate Limiting: API endpoints are rate-limited to prevent abuse.

6. Data Retention

- Account Data: Your account and associated data are retained as long as your account is active.

- Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile screen in the App. This permanently removes your account, ideas, comments, votes, and profile information from our servers.

- Local Data: You can clear locally stored data from the Settings section of the App.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

- Access your personal information through your profile and idea history in the App

- Edit your profile information at any time

- Delete your account and all associated data permanently

- Control visibility of your ideas by choosing Private, Public, Public Collaboration, or Open Build permission levels

- Block other users to prevent them from seeing your content

- Opt out of push notifications by denying or revoking notification permissions in your device settings

- Unlink any connected sign-in provider (as long as at least one remains)

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
